A simple and delicious recipe for Traditional Malay Kacang Pool using baked beans, perfect for a quick meal.

- 1 can of baked beans
- 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of chili paste
- 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in the chili paste and ground cumin, cooking for another minute.
- Add the baked beans and mix well, allowing to simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh coriander.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add more chili paste.
- Can be served with bread or rice.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
