A delicious and juicy turkey breast marinated in a flavorful herb buttermilk mixture, perfect for any occasion.

- 1 turkey breast (about 4–5 pounds)
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine buttermilk, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Place the turkey breast in a large resealable bag or container and pour the marinade over it.
- Seal the bag or cover the container and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove the turkey from the marinade and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan and roast for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the turkey rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add lemon zest to the marinade.
- Make sure to use fresh herbs for the best taste.
