Ingredients

  • 2 cups of fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 pound of pound cake, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup of strawberry jam

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  2. In a trifle dish, layer half of the pound cake cubes at the bottom.
  3. Spread half of the strawberry jam over the cake cubes.
  4. Add a layer of half of the sliced strawberries.
  5. Top with half of the whipped cream mixture.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients, finishing with whipped cream on top.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
