Description
Coquito de almendra is a delightful twist on the traditional Puerto Rican coquito, made with almond milk and flavored with spices, perfect for the holiday season.
Ingredients

- 2 cups almond milk
- 1 cup coconut cream
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup white rum
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine almond milk, coconut cream, sweetened condensed milk, white rum, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg.
- Blend until smooth and well combined.
- If desired, add chopped almonds and pulse a few times to incorporate.
- Pour the mixture into a bottle or jar and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to chill.
- Serve cold, garnished with a sprinkle of cinnamon or additional chopped almonds if desired.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the white rum.
- Coquito can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Shake well before serving as ingredients may settle.
