Ingredients

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, or cashew)
- 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup protein powder
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/4 cup chia seeds or flaxseeds
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, and protein powder.
- Add in the mini chocolate chips, chia seeds or flaxseeds, and vanilla extract.
- Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the protein balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
Notes
- Feel free to customize with your favorite add-ins like dried fruit or nuts.
- For a vegan option, use maple syrup and a plant-based protein powder.
- These can also be frozen for longer storage.
