Description

Delicious and nutritious no-bake protein balls and energy bites that are easy to make and perfect for a quick snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, or cashew)
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup protein powder
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds or flaxseeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, and protein powder.
  2. Add in the mini chocolate chips, chia seeds or flaxseeds, and vanilla extract.
  3. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
  4. Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Place the protein balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  7. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize with your favorite add-ins like dried fruit or nuts.
  • For a vegan option, use maple syrup and a plant-based protein powder.
  • These can also be frozen for longer storage.
