Ingredients

  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for dotting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine mixed berries, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract.
  3. Roll out the pie crust on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Place the berry mixture in the center of the crust, leaving a border around the edges.
  5. Fold the edges of the crust over the berries, pleating as necessary.
  6. Brush the crust with beaten egg and dot the filling with butter.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
