- 1 1/2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon butter (for dotting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine mixed berries, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract.
- Roll out the pie crust on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Place the berry mixture in the center of the crust, leaving a border around the edges.
- Fold the edges of the crust over the berries, pleating as necessary.
- Brush the crust with beaten egg and dot the filling with butter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
- Can be topped with whipped cream or ice cream.
