- 250g all-purpose flour
- 150ml warm water
- 1 packet (7g) dry yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 50g butter, melted
- 1 liter water
- 50g baking soda
- Coarse sea salt for sprinkling
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add flour, melted butter, and salt to the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
- Divide the dough into small balls and shape them into burger buns.
- In a pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil and add baking soda.
- Boil each bun for about 30 seconds, then remove and place on a baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
