Ingredients

- 6 cups of sliced apples
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
- 1 pie crust
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour (for topping)
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of cold butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and flour.
- Place the apple mixture into the pie crust.
- In another bowl, mix together flour, brown sugar, and oats.
- Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumb topping over the apple filling.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
- Let it cool before serving.

- Serve with vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
- Use a mix of tart and sweet apples for the best flavor.
