A simple and delicious recipe for making bone broth in an Instant Pot, allowing you to set it and forget it while it cooks.
Ingredients

- 2–3 pounds of bones (beef, chicken, or pork)
- 1 onion, quartered
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic, smashed
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- Water (enough to cover the bones)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the bones in the Instant Pot.
- Add the onion, carrots, celery, garlic, and apple cider vinegar.
- Fill the pot with water until the bones are covered.
- Seal the Instant Pot lid and set it to high pressure for 120 minutes.
- Once the cooking time is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally.
- Strain the broth through a fine mesh sieve and discard the solids.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Let the broth cool before storing it in the refrigerator or freezer.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, roast the bones in the oven before adding them to the Instant Pot.
- You can add herbs like thyme or bay leaves for additional flavor.
- Bone broth can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week or frozen for several months.
