- 2 cups matzo meal
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Sesame seeds (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the matzo meal, salt, sugar, and baking powder.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then add water and olive oil.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and shape each portion into a bagel shape.
- Place the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the bagels.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
