Description

A refreshing and vibrant iced tea mocktail made with hibiscus flowers, perfect for hot days.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup sugar (or to taste)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water in a pot.
  2. Add the dried hibiscus flowers to the boiling water and let it steep for about 15 minutes.
  3. Strain the mixture to remove the flowers and return the liquid to the pot.
  4. Add sugar to the hibiscus tea while it’s still warm, stirring until dissolved.
  5. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then stir in the fresh lime juice.
  6. Refrigerate the tea until chilled.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
