Description
A refreshing and vibrant iced tea mocktail made with hibiscus flowers, perfect for hot days.
Ingredients

- 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 cup sugar (or to taste)
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a pot.
- Add the dried hibiscus flowers to the boiling water and let it steep for about 15 minutes.
- Strain the mixture to remove the flowers and return the liquid to the pot.
- Add sugar to the hibiscus tea while it’s still warm, stirring until dissolved.
- Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then stir in the fresh lime juice.
- Refrigerate the tea until chilled.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your preference.
- This drink can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
- For a twist, add slices of fresh fruit like oranges or berries.
