Description

Delicious grilled sausage hoagies topped with sautéed peppers and onions, perfect for a summer barbecue.


Ingredients

  • 4 Italian sausages
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the sliced peppers and onions until soft.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill the sausages for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through.
  5. Toast the hoagie rolls on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Assemble the hoagies by placing the grilled sausages in the rolls and topping with the sautéed peppers and onions.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
