Description

Coquito is a traditional Puerto Rican holiday drink made with coconut milk, rum, and spices, often enjoyed during Christmas celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup white rum
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the coconut milk, evaporated milk, and sweetened condensed milk.
  2. Add the white rum, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt.
  3. Blend on high until all ingredients are well combined and smooth.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or spice levels as desired.
  5. Pour the mixture into a bottle or jar and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  6. Serve chilled, shaking well before pouring into glasses.

Notes
