- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup white rum
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the coconut milk, evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, white rum, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt.
- Blend on high speed until all ingredients are well combined and smooth.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or spice levels as desired.
- Pour the mixture into a bottle or jar and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Serve chilled, shaking well before pouring into glasses. Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
Notes
- Coquito can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
- For a non-alcoholic version, simply omit the rum.
