Description

Crispy Shrimp Sandwiches with Air Fryer ‘Bang Bang’ Sauce are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that combines crispy shrimp with a spicy and creamy sauce, served on a soft bun.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 sandwich buns
  • 1 cup lettuce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the shrimp in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place the coated shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha to make the ‘Bang Bang’ sauce.
  7. Assemble the sandwiches by placing lettuce on the bun, adding crispy shrimp, and drizzling with ‘Bang Bang’ sauce.
  8. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
