  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 8 hamburger buns
  • Coleslaw (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and sugar.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.
  4. Place the pork in a roasting pan and add the apple cider vinegar and water.
  5. Cover the pan with foil and roast in the oven for about 6 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
  6. Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  7. Shred the pork using two forks and mix it with the cooking juices.
