Description
Cap-and-Gown Rice Krispie Treats are a fun and festive snack perfect for graduation celebrations. These treats are easy to make and can be customized to match the school colors.

- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- Black candy melts
- White candy melts
- Miniature chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
- Remove from heat and add the Rice Krispies cereal, stirring until well coated.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan and let it cool.
- Once cooled, cut the treats into squares.
- Melt the black candy melts and dip the top of each square to create the cap.
- Use the white candy melts to create the tassel on top of the cap.
- Finish with a miniature chocolate chip for the top of the cap.
Notes
- Feel free to customize the colors of the candy melts to match your school colors.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- These treats can be made ahead of time and served at the graduation party.
