- 2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the diced peaches, ketchup, bourbon, apple cider vinegar, and brown sugar.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Continue to simmer for about 20-25 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and let cool before using or storing.
Notes
- This sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar according to your taste.
- Great for marinating meats or as a dipping sauce.
