- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Add cranberries to the saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until cranberries start to pop.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and cinnamon if using.
- Transfer cranberries to a wire rack to cool and dry for a few hours.
- Once dried, roll the cranberries in additional sugar if desired.
