Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add almond flour, honey or maple syrup, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt to the mashed bananas and mix until well combined.
  4. If using, fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  5. Using a small cookie scoop or your hands, form the mixture into small balls.
  6. Place the donut holes in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching.
  7. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
