- 2 2/3 cups shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large egg whites
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a large bowl, combine shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites and salt until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the egg whites into the coconut mixture until well combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the macaroons are golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- These macaroons can be dipped in chocolate for an extra treat.
- Make sure to use unsweetened coconut if you prefer less sweetness.
