Instructions
- Gather all vegetable scraps, including onion skins, carrots, celery, and garlic.
- Place the scraps in a large pot.
- Add the bay leaf and water to the pot.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for at least 30 minutes.
- Strain the broth through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
- Season with salt to taste.
