  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 810 hoagie rolls
  • Provolone cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the beef chuck roast in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the onion soup mix, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the roast in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
  5. Remove the roast from the crockpot and shred it with two forks.
  6. Return the shredded beef to the crockpot and stir to combine with the juices.
