Instructions
- Brine the turkey in buttermilk, salt, and spices for at least 12 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Roast the turkey for about 3-4 hours, basting occasionally.
- Prepare the green beans by sautéing them in butter and seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Boil and mash the sweet potatoes, then mix in brown sugar and top with marshmallows before baking.
- Make cornbread according to your favorite recipe.
- Cook collard greens with vinegar and seasonings until tender.
