Delicious smoky roasted cabbage wedges glazed with miso and topped with sesame seeds, perfect as a side dish or a healthy snack.

- 1 head of green cabbage
- 2 tablespoons miso paste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the cabbage into wedges and place them on a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix together miso paste, olive oil, soy sauce, maple syrup, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the miso glaze generously over the cabbage wedges.
- Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes until the edges are crispy and the cabbage is tender.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add garlic or ginger to the miso glaze.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup.
- Serve with a squeeze of lemon for added brightness.
