A delicious and easy recipe for glazed carrots made in a slow cooker with maple syrup and brown sugar.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds of carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
- 1/4 cup of maple syrup
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the carrots in the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the maple syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the carrots and stir to coat.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until the carrots are tender.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg.
- These glazed carrots can be made ahead of time and reheated.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
