Ingredients

  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Place the sauerkraut in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Layer the sliced kielbasa on top of the sauerkraut.
  3. Add the chopped onion and sliced apples over the kielbasa.
  4. Sprinkle brown sugar, caraway seeds, and black pepper over the top.
  5. Pour the chicken broth over all the ingredients.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Stir before serving and enjoy!
