- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 4 cups green cabbage, shredded
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the sourdough starter, flour, and salt to form a dough.
- Let the dough rest for 30 minutes, then roll it out to fit a tart pan.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat, add onions, and sauté until translucent.
- Add shredded cabbage and caraway seeds, cooking until the cabbage is tender.
- Season with salt and pepper, then remove from heat.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and heavy cream.
- Spread the cabbage and onion mixture over the crust, then pour the egg mixture on top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the tart is set and golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
