Description
A comforting and creamy casserole made with pierogi and kielbasa, cooked slowly in a crockpot for a delicious meal.
Ingredients

- 1 package frozen pierogi (16 oz)
- 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and chicken broth until well combined.
- Layer half of the frozen pierogi in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add half of the kielbasa and half of the chopped onion on top of the pierogi.
- Spread half of the soup mixture over the layers.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the pierogi are tender.
- Stir gently before serving and enjoy!
Notes
- Feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before cooking.
- For a spicier version, add some red pepper flakes or hot sauce.
