Description

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Fruits for decoration (e.g., candied fruits)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 10 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Add the yeast mixture, eggs, butter, and vanilla to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Shape the dough into a ring and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Let the dough rise again for 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Decorate the top of the dough with candied fruits.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Let it cool before serving.
