- 500g all-purpose flour
- 100g sugar
- 10g salt
- 25g fresh yeast
- 200ml milk
- 100g butter
- 3 eggs
- 200g strawberry jam
- 150g cream cheese
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Decorative sugar and fruits (for topping)
Instructions
- In a bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture, eggs, and softened butter to the dry ingredients and knead until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Once risen, roll out the dough and spread the strawberry jam and cream cheese evenly.
- Roll the dough into a log and shape it into a ring, sealing the edges.
- Place the ring on a baking sheet and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Brush the top with beaten egg and sprinkle with decorative sugar and fruits.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool before serving.
