- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened

Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Add pumpkin puree, melted butter, egg, and yeast mixture to the dry ingredients; mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread with butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
- Shape each slice into a pumpkin shape and place on a baking sheet.
- Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- For the frosting, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese frosting over the warm rolls before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier flavor, add more cinnamon or nutmeg.
- These rolls can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
