  • 1 cup black food coloring (optional)
  • Apple slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine apple cider, cranberry juice, and orange juice.
  2. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice to the pot.
  3. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
  4. If using, stir in black food coloring to achieve the desired ‘poisoned’ effect.
  5. Let the cider simmer for 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with apple slices.
