Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 16 oz chocolate coating (milk or dark)
  • Optional: additional crushed Oreos for topping

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese until well blended.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. While the truffles are chilling, melt the chocolate coating in a microwave or double boiler.
  6. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated, and return them to the baking sheet.
  7. If desired, sprinkle crushed Oreos on top of the chocolate-coated truffles before the chocolate sets.
