- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup nut butter (peanut or almond)
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips or dried fruit
- 1/4 cup chia seeds or flaxseeds
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, chocolate chips or dried fruit, chia seeds or flaxseeds, and vanilla extract.
- Mix all ingredients until well combined.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the energy bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
