- 2 pounds prime rib roast
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 French rolls
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rub the prime rib roast with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Place the roast in a roasting pan and cook for about 1 hour, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
- While the roast is cooking, in a saucepan, combine beef broth, sliced onion, minced garlic, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Once the roast is done, let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing thinly.
- Slice the French rolls and layer with sliced prime rib and provolone cheese.
- Serve the sandwiches with the warm au jus for dipping.

- Leftover prime rib can be used for this recipe.
