Description

Mint Oreo Truffles are a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that combines the classic flavors of mint and chocolate, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of Mint Oreo cookies (about 14.3 oz)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Mint Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed cookies with softened cream cheese and mix until well blended.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using) in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  6. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, and place back on the parchment paper.
  7. Let the chocolate set at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.

Notes

  • For a stronger mint flavor, add a few drops of mint extract to the cream cheese mixture.
  • These truffles can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Feel free to decorate the truffles with crushed Oreos or sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
