Description

Ingredients

  • 1 package of frozen pierogi (cheese and potato)
  • 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté the diced onion until translucent.
  3. Add the sliced kielbasa to the skillet and cook until browned.
  4. In a baking dish, layer half of the frozen pierogi, followed by half of the kielbasa mixture, and half of the cheddar cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining pierogi, kielbasa, and cheese.
  6. Spread sour cream on top of the final layer.
  7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
