Halloween Brookies are a delightful combination of brownies and cookies, perfect for celebrating the spooky season.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup Halloween-themed sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and half of the Halloween sprinkles.
- Spread half of the batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough on top of the brownie layer, then spread the remaining brownie batter over the cookie dough.
- Sprinkle the remaining Halloween sprinkles on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- For a more festive look, use different types of Halloween sprinkles.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
- These brookies can be frozen for up to 2 months.
