Ingredients

- 2 pounds of potatoes
- 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup of milk
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Peel and chop the potatoes into chunks.
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add the garlic butter mixture and milk to the potatoes.
- Mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve warm.

- For a richer flavor, use more butter.
- Feel free to add herbs like chives or parsley for extra freshness.
