A delicious and easy recipe for Valentine’s Day brownies made with M&M’s and browned butter blondies.

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup Valentine’s M&M’s
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, mix the browned butter and brown sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the Valentine’s M&M’s.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar.
- Feel free to substitute M&M’s with chocolate chips or nuts.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
