A delicious and easy-to-make Crock Pot Bourbon Chicken recipe that is perfect for any occasion.

- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup bourbon
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the chicken thighs in the Crock Pot.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, ketchup, apple cider vinegar, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken in the Crock Pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and stir it back into the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, remove the lid during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
- Adjust the amount of bourbon to taste.
