- 8 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni)
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, sauté the minced garlic in a bit of olive oil until fragrant.
- Add the heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet; stir to combine.
- Mix in the cooked pasta and half of the Parmesan cheese until well coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining Parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, you can substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
