A refreshing and tangy cranberry relish that perfectly complements holiday meals.

- 12 oz fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 orange, zested and juiced
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Rinse the cranberries and remove any stems or bad berries.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, orange zest, orange juice, and cinnamon.
- Cook over medium heat until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens, about 10-15 minutes.
- If using, stir in the chopped walnuts.
- Remove from heat and let cool before serving.
Notes
- This relish can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Adjust the sugar to taste if you prefer a sweeter or more tart relish.
- Great as a topping for turkey or as a spread on sandwiches.
