Ingredients

- 1 head of cauliflower, chopped
- 1 head of broccoli, chopped
- 2 cups of shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, steam the chopped cauliflower and broccoli until tender.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the steamed vegetables with cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Melt the butter and mix it with the breadcrumbs, then sprinkle over the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Notes
- Feel free to add cooked chicken or ham for extra protein.
- For a vegan version, use plant-based cheese and milk.
- This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
