Description
Classic Tiramisu is a delicious no-bake Italian dessert made with layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers and a rich mascarpone cheese mixture.

- 6 egg yolks
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
- 1 package ladyfingers
- Cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together egg yolks and sugar until pale and creamy.
- Heat milk in a saucepan and gradually whisk it into the egg mixture.
- Cook the mixture over low heat until it thickens, then let it cool.
- In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the mascarpone cheese into the cooled egg mixture, then gently fold in the whipped cream.
- Dip ladyfingers in the cooled coffee and layer them in a dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Add another layer of coffee-dipped ladyfingers and top with the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, dust with cocoa powder.
Notes
- For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso instead of brewed coffee.
- Make sure the mascarpone is at room temperature for easier mixing.
- Allowing the tiramisu to chill overnight enhances the flavors.
