Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/3 cups crispy fried onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper.
  4. Add the blanched green beans to the soup mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and stir in 2/3 cup of the crispy fried onions.
  7. Top with the remaining fried onions and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown.
