Instructions

- Continue to cook until the mixture reaches a hard crack stage (300°F or 150°C).
- Remove from heat and pour onto a greased baking sheet.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and let them melt.
- Spread the melted chocolate evenly and top with chopped nuts if desired.
- Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces.
