- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon shortening
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions, adding the vegetable oil and eggs.
- Pour the brownie batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting them into small squares.
- Take a small piece of brownie and flatten it in your hand, place a spoonful of cherry pie filling in the center, and wrap the brownie around the filling to form a ball.
- Repeat until all brownie and cherry filling is used.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and shortening together until smooth.
- Dip each brownie ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated.
- Place the chocolate-covered brownie bombs on a parchment-lined tray and let them set in the refrigerator.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
- These can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
