Instructions
- Season the tenderized steaks with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In a bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and eggs.
- Dip each steak into the buttermilk mixture, then dredge in flour, ensuring an even coating.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove the steaks and drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and whisk in flour to create a roux.
- Slowly add milk while whisking to avoid lumps, cooking until thickened.
- Season the gravy with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the fried steaks topped with country gravy.
